Popped in to see Cllr Mo Razzaq at Family Shopper Blantyre to hear all about his trial of a Deposit Return Scheme.

Customers can deposit used plastic bottles and cans in exchange for vouchers or a donation to a local charity.

Family Shopper is the first independent shop in Scotland to have one of these machines and Mo has consistently championed the deposit scheme. Hopefully, we will see this rolled out across the country before long.
