Today I’m hoping to speak in the debate on the Prime Minister’s Brexit deal. Ahead of the vote and my speech I wanted to set out to constituents what I will be saying, and if the deal falls what I believe should happen next.
I will not be voting for the Prime Minister’s deal and if there is an opportunity to, I will vote in favour of a no confidence motion in the Government.
Contrary to what the Prime Minister says, there is another way if her deal falls Parliament must decide what happens next and I believe that we must be open to allowing the people to have another say.
