Today I held a debate on the impacts of ATM closures on our towns, high streets and rural communities. I do not believe the public should have to pay to access their own cash, however, the closures of free to use ATMs means that there are currently more free to use ATMs in the House of Commons than on Cambuslang Main Street.

I don’t think this is right, that’s why I have a bill in Parliament to ban ATM charges and will continue campaigning against the closures of ATMs and bank branches.
