I am excited to launch my 2018 Christmas Card competition and I am inviting all primary school pupils in Rutherglen and Hamilton West to send in their designs.

The competition is open to all the Primary aged children in Rutherglen and Hamilton West. The winning Christmas card will be sent to hundreds of individuals, organisations and local businesses across our area and throughout the UK.

The deadline for entries is Friday 9th November with the winner and four runners-up, two from the lower school and two from the upper school, being announced in November before the cards will be professionally printed at the beginning of December.

If you have any children who you would like to take part please note the following:
– All entries should be to a maximum size of A4
– Portrait or landscape orientation
– Cards can be made using paints, coloured pencils, or felt-tip pens
– Please include the pupil’s name, age, class and school on the back of their entry
– Entries should be sent to Ged Killen MP, 259 Hamilton Road, Cambuslang, G72 7PQ
