Last December, I led a debate in Westminster Hall on suicide. While statistics show that the number of people who die by suicide is at the lowest level since records began, 3 out of 4 suicides are by men and Scotland has the highest suicide rate in Great Britain.

Yesterday was World Suicide Prevention Day, it’s important for all of us to make the effort to talk to each other about how we feel and to recognise that it’s okay not to be okay.
