I really enjoyed having the opportunity to visit the Terminal One youth and community centre in Blantyre.

In the 25 years Terminal One has been open they have touched the lives of hundreds of young people from Blantyre and, after seeing the commitment and enthusiasm of everyone involved, I am sure they will go from strength to strength over the next 25.

I think the work that they do is a fantastic example of what can be achieved when communities pull together. The youth theatre, the clubs, and the recording studio – none of these would exist without the support the community in Blantyre gives Terminal One.

The result is that we have a brilliant resource for young people in Blantyre and long may it continue.
