I am contacting all business owners across the constituency.

Over the course of my time as the MP for the area, I have noticed that a number of issues have been affecting the conditions under which small business operate, both positive and negative.

To understand this further I have created and circulated this small business survey to ask businesses in the Rutherglen and Hamilton West Constituency about the conditions under which they conduct business, how they have performed over the past year and what circumstances in the area have helped or hindered their business development. The aim of this survey is to gather information to allow to me to better advocate for the interests of small businesses in my role as the MP for Rutherglen and Hamilton West.

The only personal information I am asking for in this survey is the postcode of your business. This is to help me identify what advantages and problems there are in each area so that I can raise any issues. The survey takes under ten minutes to complete and I would be extremely grateful for your help in helping build a better picture of the challenges and opportunities for small business in the constituency.

All the data collected will be anonymised and you will not be able to be identified based on your answers.
